Broadcasting from hyperspace ring Warp Gate 8 in the Kepler-542 System, we cover everything geek including sci-fi, fantasy, animation, cosplay, superheroes, gaming, toys, and tech for our intrepid colonists.

As you already know, the Warp Gate System is still relatively new, but has opened up the galaxy for colonization by Earth. Warp Gate 8 serves as the gateway to the Kepler-542 System for United Sol colonial ships and mining transports. In geosynchronous orbit above Johannesburg (the main settlement on Kepler-452b), our crew maintains the hyperspace ring as well as proving system-wide communications for colonists and mining crews.

While our work is important, it does leave a lot of free time on our crew’s hands, so we decided to launch an entertainment news site for our colonists. Since most of the crew have scientific and technical backgrounds, we’re naturally geeks at heart so our news site aligns with those geeky passions. The result is Warp Gate News!
