Samuel L. Jackson Gets Nick Fury Series on Disney+

Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as SHIELD leader Nick Fury in a new Disney+ series. News of the Marvel series broke today in a report by Variety. The article cited several insider sources. Disney didn’t respond to Variety’s request for comment.

The sources confirmed that Jackson will play Nick Fury and the show is in very early stages of development. Kyle Bradstreet is attached as writer and executive producer. Bradstreet has written and produced on TV series Mr. Robot and Copper, and was a writer on the Borgia series.

One wonders how Jackson fits in time to work on other movies, but he does somehow. Jackson also played Fury in two episodes of Agents of SHIELD.
